The Development Council for Buffalo County is pleased to announce the addition of three distinguished new Board of Directors.
Craig Bennet
Land Development & Planning, Miller & Associates Consulting Engineers, P.C.
Craig Bennet brings more than 39 years of experience in civil engineering, planning, land development, and consulting across numerous communities, counties, and states. His extensive portfolio includes impactful work with organizations such as Nebraska Economic Development and private developers on major projects including a Meta/Facebook Data Center, Nebraska Veterans Home, Hewlett Packard, hospital expansions, university developments, hospitality projects, retail centers, and subdivision and infrastructure planning.
“It is an honor to be on the Development Council for Buffalo County,” Bennet said. “I passionately love Kearney and Buffalo County. There is no other place I’d rather live and devote my time to see Kearney and Buffalo County grow and thrive.”
Kevin Jenn
Chief Financial Officer, Blueprint Engines
With 37 years of experience in finance, accounting, and information technology, Kevin Jenn began his career as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche before moving into private industry. He resides near Amherst, where his children attended school and where his grandchildren now enjoy spending time outdoors.
Jenn currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for Blueprint Engines, where he has worked for three years.
“I am excited to serve on the Development Council and help make Kearney and Buffalo County the premier destination for investment and skilled talent,” he said.
Grant Flamig
Retail Account Manager, Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD)
Grant Flamig serves as the relationship manager for NPPD’s key accounts within and for the communities of Kearney, Elm Creek, Gibbon, Shelton, and Ravenna in Buffalo County, as well as in Loup City, Ashton, Minden, Alma, and McCook. His focus on positive outcomes starts by understanding the customer’s needs and wants. During his 18‑year career with NPPD, Flamig has also held roles in distribution system design and geospatial information system mapping.
“Living and working in this community for most of my adult life—along with raising my three children here—I have a strong sense of pride and ownership in the success of Kearney and the surrounding area,” Flamig said. “NPPD provides an essential service in order to promote business growth and retention. I look forward to helping shape the future of Buffalo County.”

- Sherry Morrow, Buffalo County Board of Commissioners, will serve as Chair of the Board
- Brad Wagner, Midlands Contracting, will serve as Vice Chair
- Kelly Naslund, Watkins Concrete Block, will serve as Secretary/Treasurer
- Jerry Hellman, Hellman, Main, Coslor & Kathol, P.C. will serve as Past Chair
