These recognitions celebrate those who demonstrate leadership, innovation, and a strong commitment to advancing economic growth and enhancing quality of life throughout Buffalo County. This year, the Development Council selected the Kearney Area Community Foundation to receive this recognition. Since 1995, the Foundation has invested more than $79 million into the community while supporting over 160 funds. Its work strengthens education, parks, leadership development, and essential services, making a lasting impact on quality of life across Buffalo County.
