Kearney Regional Medical Center (KRMC), in partnership with Platte Valley Medical Group and Bryan Health, has broken ground on a new Oak Park Campus in north Kearney, signaling a major expansion of local healthcare access.

The new facility—located near 56th Street and 2nd Avenue—is designed to meet increasing demand driven by population growth and limited healthcare availability in that part of the city.

The campus will feature:
  • A primary care clinic with space for 8–10 providers
  • An urgent care center with extended morning and evening hours
  • A full outpatient imaging center offering MRI, CT scans, mammography, ultrasound, X-ray, and more
Construction is underway with a target opening in fall 2027.

Leaders emphasized the project’s focus on improving access, reducing costs, and bringing care closer to where people live and work.

“The Oak Park Campus marks another step in Kearney’s evolution as a regional healthcare destination—where growth is not only expanding access but deepening the level of care available right here at home," said Development Council President Trevor Lee.
